HYROX ticket types explained: Open, Pro, Doubles, Relay

The HYROX ticket types

Open (Singles), Men and Women. The standard race: 8 km of running and 8 workout stations, standard weights. The most common ticket.
Pro. Same format with heavier weights and higher wall balls. For experienced, competitive athletes; also the division used for elite qualification.
Doubles (Men, Women, Mixed, Pro Doubles). Two athletes: both run every 1 km, then split the work at each station. Each needs a ticket, usually sold as a ticket plus a partner ("Athlete 2") ticket.
Relay (Men, Women, Mixed). A team of four; each member runs 1 km and does one station, twice. The most accessible way in and the slowest to sell out.
Adaptive. Divisions for athletes with physical disabilities, with adapted stations.
Youngstars. Separate races for kids and teens, usually on their own day or event.
Spectator. Entry for supporters; often free for young children.

Most tickets exist once per race day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday...), so "HYROX Doubles Mixed | Saturday" and "| Sunday" are separate tickets with separate availability.

What is the difference between HYROX Open and Pro?

Same course, heavier weights. Pro uses heavier sled push and pull, higher wall balls, heavier farmers carry, sandbag lunges and kettlebells. Open is the standard division most athletes race; Pro is for experienced athletes chasing a competitive time.

How do HYROX Doubles tickets work?

Doubles is two athletes sharing the workout stations while both run every 1 km. Each athlete needs a ticket; the shop usually sells a Doubles ticket plus an 'Athlete 2' partner ticket, and Doubles categories (Men, Women, Mixed, Pro) are among the first to sell out.

Which HYROX tickets sell out first?

Typically Doubles and the Saturday slots at big-city races, then Open Men and Women on the most popular days. Relay and weekday slots last longer. Sold-out tickets come back regularly, so a free alert on the one you want is worth setting.
